Job Title: Operations Manager

Actual Annual Salary: £16,073 - £17,149

Full Time Equivalent Salary: £39,649 - £42,301 (CLF Grade F)

Contract Type: Permanent

Hours: Part Time, 15 hours per week, All year round.

Additional role info: Working Pattern - Thursday and Friday 7.5 hours per day

Are you a highly organised and proactive professional with a passion for operational excellence? We are seeking an exceptional Operations Manager to play a pivotal role in the smooth running of our academy. Reporting directly to the Senior Operations Manager, you will oversee the coordination of all operational and administrative activities, ensuring that robust systems and procedures are in place to support our educational mission.

Working closely with the Principal, senior leadership team, Senior Operations Manager and colleagues across the wider trust, you will help shape and maintain a compliant, efficient, and collaborative environment. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact, contributing to the success of our academy through outstanding operational leadership.

The Operations Manager for Hanham Woods Academy will work as a job share with the Senior Operations Manager to ensure that the academy has appropriate operational leadership five days a week. This is a great opportunity to learn how to lead operations alongside a very experienced Senior Operations Manager.

About you:

  • Ability to manage and prioritise a varied and busy workload
  • Works flexibly, is highly organised and responds well to unplanned situations.
  • Evidence of significant, effective administration management and leadership to support and develop the day-to-day operation of a business or other.
  • High standard of oral and written communication skills and ability to understand and convey information effectively.
  • Excellent customer service and highly developed interpersonal skills.
  • Evidence of effective leadership and line-management of staff including a team.
  • Experience of undertaking and developing a range of administrative tasks to a high standard.
  • Experience of preparing and presenting data and reports.
  • Excellent IT skills that include a sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office, e-mail and use of the internet. Excellent keyboard and typing skills.
