Key Centre Leader
Starting salary of £30,451 pro rata per annum
We wish to appoint a dynamic and inspirational colleague to manage the school’s Key Centre; leading, supporting and developing our team of Pupil Support Workers. The Key Centre works with pupils and parents to establish positive strategies to re-engage them with mainstream lessons. The successful candidate will oversee the wellbeing and behavioural issues of designated pupils; coordinating programmes that offer them opportunities for learning intellectually, emotionally and socially, both as individuals, as members of a group and of the wider community. Some pupils might need to do some short-term intervention, targeting aggression or self-esteem for example whereas others may have to be educated with a more personalised full-time package; possibly including alternative provision.
