We wish to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated teacher of ICT & Computing. In addition to being organised, reliable and responsible, the successful candidate will need to demonstrate excellent teaching of ICT and a clear passion for the subject. The candidate will be responsible for the teaching and learning of pupils at KS3 and KS4 (with KS5 being an option), supporting the department in planning and adapting the curriculum and promoting the subject of ICT and Computing both through teaching and extra-curricular activities. Due to the current circumstances, the role will be fixed term in the first instance but a permanent post may be considered for a suitably qualified/experienced candidate.

You would be working in our well-equipped dedicated ICT classrooms with access to up to date hardware, the Office 365 platform and a wide range of current software applications. You will also have access to a wide range of technology such as a personal touchscreen laptop (used primarily as your main teaching device), a large number of iPad devices available for teaching and learning and recently upgraded computer suites in your classroom. Hardenhuish provides a supportive environment, where every member of staff is helped to be the very best they can be. You would have the advantage of outstanding CPD provision, if appropriate an established and successful NQT programme, potential for in-house career progression opportunities, regular staff-wellbeing events and access to a generous benefit package through Wiltshire Rewards.
