Agri-Tech Project Officer

£30,311 per annum

37.5 hours per week

About the Role

As the Agri-Tech Project Officer, you will provide effective administration and marketing support Agri-Tech Centre and Tech Box Park projects, facility, and beneficiaries and able to deliver technological business support for farming businesses within the Gloucestershire region, which will additionally support our Hartpury Agri-Tech Department.

Hartpury’s Digital Innovation Farm forms part of an exciting 10-year vision at Hartpury, which is already under way with the construction of a £2 million Agri-Tech Centre. Hartpury’s Digital Innovation Farm will include the National Centre for Agricultural Data Management and Interpretation, to assist the industry in its advancement of agricultural technology, data, and security. Officially opened earlier this year by NFU President Minette Batters, the Agri-Tech Centre provides farmers, students, and organisations with access to the latest commercial technology. This is an ESIF funded project.

About You

• Previous experience of working within an administrative/project support role.

• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office including, Word, Excel, Access and Outlook is essential.

• Ability to liaise at all levels.

• Able to prioritise workload with a flexible attitude to work.

• Experience using social media marketing platforms and delivering marketing campaigns.

• Ability to provide a high level of administrative support to the Tech Box Park Manager

and Agri-Tech Centre Manager and other internal and external stakeholders as required.

• Holds a driver’s license.

• You will be expected to demonstrate the ability to work in a way that promotes the safety and wellbeing of young people and vulnerable adults.
