Part-time and fixed-term for one year in the first instance

We are looking for an ambitious, well-qualified and enthusiastic teacher to join our team and contribute to the ongoing success of our school.
The role will be 2.5-days per week, teaching in year 5. Due to the commitments of the current job-share partner, you will be required to work Wednesday (pm) and all day Thursday and Friday.
We are an inner-city school at the heart of our community. The school has undergone many changes over the past few years, with the addition of a SEND Unit for up to twenty pupils, as well as housing the Trust’s central team and a dedicated classroom to support pupils with SEMH needs, led by Wansbeck Primary.

- Have experience of working with pupils across the primary age range.
- Have a good understanding of how to support pupils with additional needs.
- Have a thorough knowledge and understanding of the national curriculum.
