Job Role  - Pastoral Manager

Location -  Marple Hall School 

Hours -  37 hours per week, term time only plus 3 weeks to be negotiated (to include September inset) 

Contract Type  - Permanent 

Salary -  NJC scale 5 £28,598 to £31,022 (actual £26,106 to £28,319)

We require an excellent practitioner to join our pastoral team as a Pastoral Manager. The purpose of the role is to support students’ learning by focusing on behaviour and attendance and working with parents and outside agencies to develop positive attitudes and approaches to achievement.  

You will have commitment to young people and their development; an understanding of the issues young people face and an ability to empathise with them whilst setting high expectations and clear boundaries. You will be well supported by a Head of Year and a large Pastoral Team and will work closely with the relevant Pastoral Senior Leaders.
