The Role

We are looking for a Design Technology Technician to join the Faculty of Creative Arts in helping the School on its journey to becoming an established and outstanding community School.

The role is for 20 hours per week - days and hours to be agreed with the successful applicant. Flexible around the school run if needed. Term time only.

No experience is needed, but a willingness to learn on the job and work with wood, metal and plastics is essential. Full training will be given and the School will ensure the successful candidate has a development programme in place.

Responsibilities to include:

  • Supporting DT Learning and Teaching - to ensure that resources are organised and available to promote a purposeful environment for teaching and learning to take place
  • Health and Safety - to support staff and students to follow Health and Safety guidance
  • General Duties - to work as part of the overall support team of the School to ensure the School runs smoothly and effectively at all times
