Job Description:
We are currently seeking a reliable and professional Minibus Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and timely transportation of our students, to and from the Sixth Form, from around the Woking area.
Key Responsibilities:
• Safely operate the school minibus in compliance with all traffic and safety regulations.
• Ensure the minibus is maintained in a clean and roadworthy condition.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any maintenance issues.
• Assist students with boarding and disembarking the minibus, ensuring their safety at all times.
• Maintain a log of all trips and report any incidents or delays.
• Provide a friendly and professional service to students, staff, and parents.
Requirements:
• A valid UK driving licence with D1 entitlement.
• PCV licence preferred.
• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
• Excellent driving skills and a clean driving record.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage time effectively and adhere to schedules.
• A friendly and patient demeanour, with a genuine care for student safety and well-being.
• Ability to pass an Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check.
