We are looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated Learning Support Team and contribute to ensuring the Academy continues to flourish.   

The successful applicant will provide support for individual students within mainstream classes in a variety of subjects, including sports and outdoor education.  

A warm, firm and caring approach to students is essential. No experience is necessary, however GCSE (or equivalent) grade C Maths and English are essential.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are considering a career in teaching as you will have the opportunity to build effective relationships with students and colleagues and learn from a range of excellent teachers.

Hours : Full time - 31hrs 40 mins 8.15am – 3.10pm, Monday to Friday (includes 35 mins unpaid lunch), term time plus 2 days for training/staff meetings

We would be willing to accept applications from people who are unable to commit to 5 days per week but would be able to offer 3 or 4 days a week.  Please indicate on your application if you would be looking for full time or part time hours.
