We are offering an exciting opportunity to join our NEET team within Heart of Worcestershire College based in both our Worcester and Redditch Campuses.
The purpose of the role is to act as a learning mentor for students accessing support with their studies on Level 1 study programmes through the Tuition Fund programme. The support will be in the form of working with small groups of students at a time. Mentors will work to enable learners to bridge gaps in knowledge where learning was disrupted as a result of missed education during 2020/21.
To be considered for this role you must have a minimum of a Level 2 qualification in both Literacy and Numeracy, the ability to engage with young people/students who may have faced previous challenges, understand what is meant by the term NEET and have experience in developing and delivering programmes for learners.
