CONTRACT TERM: Permanent

GRADE: Grade 15 - PT 3 (£24,796 Per annum pro rata)

ACTUAL SALARY £14,538

HOURS OF WORK: Part Time – 26hrs/week – Term Time Only (30-minute unpaid lunch break)

We have an exciting opportunity for a talented and dynamic individual to join our team as a Teaching Assistant to provide administrative and teaching and learning support for the Maths department and the

Faculty Leader.

The post is an integral part of how the department supports all pupils in the acquisition and development of maths skills. The successful candidate will be supporting pupils in the classroom under the supervision of the

teacher, or working in a withdrawal situation with small groups as directed by the teacher and head of faculty. They will also assist the department with some administration and clerical tasks.

Candidates will need to demonstrate:

  • Highly motivated, innovative and committed to achieving outstanding results
  • Enthusiastic about mathematics and able to share this with others
  • Patient in supporting pupils developing a greater understanding and confidence in mathematics
  • Keen to join a highly collaborative faculty with excellent resources.
