We are looking to appoint, as soon as possible, an effective and professional administrator to support the wide array of educational and enrichment activities at the school.

To support visit leaders to ensure the educational visits organised by the school are well researched and documented, planned and organised, risk assessed and managed appropriately to ensure their success. To act as visit leader where required. To facilitate overseas visits as appropriate. To fulfil the role of Transport Manager within the school, coordinating minibus usage and ensuring driver eligibility.

In the role of Educational Visits Coordinator, you will be instrumental in organizing and managing enrichment activities that enhance the learning experience.

Reporting to the Business Manager, you will utilise your strong computer skills, administrative experience, and organisational abilities to ensure smooth operations. Your proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry will be essential in maintaining records and coordinating schedules. With a focus on effective communication, you will foster positive relationships with participants and stakeholders, contributing to the overall success of our enrichment programs.

Flexibility is essential as the successful candidate will, occasionally, be required to cover some school trips which may necessitate a 7.00am start and/or a later finish time.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our popular and successful school in beautiful West Cornwall. Ofsted (Inspection May 2023) judged the school as ‘good’ and stated, “Pupils enjoy attending Humphry Davy School. They feel safe, happy and well-cared for. Pupils value the warm and respectful relationships they have with their teachers. It is a highly inclusive school”.

We value our long-standing and well-deserved reputation for a cooperative and inclusive ethos which encourages, supports and develops students of all abilities. Our staff are recognised as sharing this strong commitment to raising standards, and there are plenty of opportunities to get involved beyond your core responsibilities if you so choose.
