Lead Teacher of MFL Faculty

Required for September 2024, an outstanding practitioner, to lead the development of Modern Foreign Languages and our International School work. You must be able to enthuse, engage, motivate and inspire both students and staff, through your passion for your subject, creative teaching, presence and personality.

As Head of Faculty you will be responsible for the management and strategic development of the Faculty, contributing towards improving standards of student achievement, and assisting in the development of the teaching practice within the faculty. Working as a member of our Middle Leadership team there will be scope to make a significant contribution to the direction of the whole school in addition to raising standards in the MFL Faculty.

Languages are integral to our school strategy and a valued part of our curriculum with students able to study both Spanish and French to GCSE; consistently achieving good outcomes. The school leadership team is committed to the British Council Foreign Language Assistant scheme and staff have cultivated numerous strong international links including a partner school in Montpellier.
