We are thrilled to announce we are looking to appoint a Student Support Worker to join our incredible, and established team!

This is an exciting opportunity to have a key role in working as part of a successful pastoral team, supporting students in a year group at Humphry Davy School.

You will be a key part of the Student Support team, and central to our integrated plans for September to have strong links with our new Wellbeing Centre.

You will be the type of person who is keen to form positive relationships with all stakeholders of the school in supporting our young people to overcome any barriers to learning on a personal and academic level.

This is a varied and fulfilling role which will help shape our students to be confident and happy individuals, ready to take on the challenges that life throws at them.

We are looking for an excellent team player and communicator who has the confidence to deal with a range of pastoral issues and the ability to take the lead and show initiative. You must have a track record and passion for working with young people. You will have strengths in supporting them; showing care and attention; providing a listening ear, and the ability to act accordingly in a variety of circumstances. You need to be an emotionally resilient person, with superb attention to detail, and a high understanding of the role and responsibility around safeguarding.
