Position: Before & After School Club Assistant
Required from: 6th January 2025
Contract Type: Permanent, Part time (39 weeks per year, to include INSET days)
13.75 hours per week, 7.30am to 8.30am, 3.15pm – 5pm, Monday to Friday
Salary: Grade 4, points 5 to 6: actual £7,641 to £7,702 (£24,033 to £24,222 FTE).

As a Before and After school Club Assistant you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations, ensuring the safety and well-being of the children in your care.
Your duties will include:
• Supervising children during before and after school activities.
• Assisting with the planning and delivery of engaging and age-appropriate activities.
• Providing a safe and welcoming environment for all children.
• Supporting children with their homework and other educational activities.
• Communicating effectively with parents and carers.
• Ensuring all behavioural, safeguarding and health and safety policies are adhered to.
We are looking for someone who has:
• Experience working with children in a similar setting.
• A genuine passion for working with primary aged children.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexibly and as part of a team.
