Welcome From The Headteacher

My name is Daryl Bates, and I am delighted to have been appointed as the new Headteacher for Include Suffolk.

I am a qualified headteacher with many years of experience working with children at all key stages and levels of learning. I am looking forward to building on the successes of Include Suffolk and playing a key role in our future journey.

Our mission is to enable each pupil to leave our school with renewed confidence in their ability and for this steppingstone to provide a springboard to permanent school placement and academic career.

I am proud of the progress pupils make within our school socially, as well as academically.

We have a highly committed staff team who amaze me daily with their resilience and the care that they provide our pupils. It is our goal for each child that attends our school to become the very best version of themselves that they can be. We pride ourselves in the high-quality leadership at each school site and our excellent communication with our pupils, parents/carers, partnerships and our Local Advisory Board to ensure that we continue to progress as a school and our pupils receive the very best support while they are with us.

Yours sincerely,

Daryl Bates (Headteacher)

ABOUT CATCH22

Catch22 is a social business: a not-for-profit business with a social mission.

We’ve been a charity for over 200 years, designing and delivering services that build resilience and aspiration in people and communities across the UK.

We don’t just deliver alternative education, we also work across children’s social care, get people into work through apprenticeships and employability programmes, build stronger communities through social action, and deliver social justice and rehabilitation services (in prisons and in the community).

But we don’t stop at changing lives on the frontline. We take any surplus and the learning from our delivery, and funnel that into public service reform – investing in new structures and programmes that do things differently and change the system for good.

We do this through our network of independent and Multi Academies Trust schools which offer high-quality teaching and learning, based on effective relationships that enable the achievement of life skills and meaningful qualifications.

Led by Jane Reed (Catch22 Education CEO), the Catch22 Education Senior Leadership Team provides leadership and management expertise and a range of core business services to our schools and academies.
