For two terms in the first instance, Governors are seeking to appoint an ambitious, well-qualified, inspirational, dynamic and highly motivated Head of PE. This is an excellent opportunity to develop school sporting provision which could also be made available on a secondment basis (permission should be sort from current headteachers prior to application).
The successful candidate will deliver a high-quality and inclusive PE curriculum, set clear expectations for behaviour and achievement, and create a positive environment in which staff and students of all abilities can make strong progress.
We welcome applications from candidates who:
• have excellent leadership skills
• are passionate about PE and able to enthuse, engage and motivate learners
• deliver creative and engaging lessons which challenge and inspire learners
• are reflective practitioners, always willing to refine and improve their practice, with the highest expectations of themselves and those around them
• are strong team players who are collaborative with first-class interpersonal skills; approachable on both a professional and personal level
• are resilient and driven to ensure that every learner reaches their potential
Governors and staff have very high expectations of what can be achieved in our school and we want talented individuals to join us to translate these expectations and aspirations into reality.
