An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Islwyn High’s team as the Examinations/Data Officer.

37 hours per week - term time plus INSET days plus 2 weeks.

Governors are seeking to appoint an energetic, organised Examinations Officer to join the support staff team. The Examinations Officer is responsible for the administration and organisation of all aspects of examinations and tests throughout the school. The role will involve examination administration, leading and co-ordinating a team of invigilators, working with exam bodies and analysing data.

The Examinations Officer will support the Senior Leadership with the analysis of school data and will be required to contribute to administrative functions across the support staff team as required. Previous experience in a similar school based role would be an advantage.

Islwyn High School is situated near Blackwood in Gwent. The school was purpose built in 2017 comprising a single three storey building. It’s modern design includes state of the art facilities for subjects such as Science and Technology, a full size sports hall, performance hall and music suite, as well as a floodlit 4G sports pitch and fitness suite. IT and audio visual facilities available in all classrooms reflect significant investment in the teaching and learning environment for our pupils.
