JFS School Nurse


JFS Pay Scale  Spine Point PO1/PO2 £35,948 - £40,630  Pro rata (39 weeks per year Term time £30,873 – £34,792) *Equivalent to Band 6*


We are seeking a School Nurse to join us at JFS. The principal responsibilities of our School Nurse will include:


• To provide first-line medical assistance to students and staff.


• To be responsible for the delivery of assessment and treatment of minor illness and injuries.


• To deliver care within the boundaries of the role, focusing on student well-being and health education.

We could welcome applicants who have a/an:

• Nursing qualification ( essential)


• Degree level qualification


• Current First Aid Qualification or willingness to attend appropriate training


• Experience of working with young people ages 11- 18


• Understanding the educational welfare and social needs if students
