Our Design Technology department is committed to developing students who are creative thinkers and independent learners. The department work together to ensure that they provide a creative curriculum which challenges students to develop their technical understanding and practical skills.


The successful applicant will be a hardworking and enthusiastic professional with excellent subject knowledge.


We would welcome applicants who:

• Are driven to engage and work with enthusiastic and committed students
• Currently are or have the potential to be an outstanding practitioner in teaching Design Technology or Art & Design (Fashion & Textiles)
• Have excellent subject knowledge in the focus areas of Fashion and Textiles that extends across all key stages
• A working knowledge of BTEC programmes in Art & Design (Fashion and Textiles route)
