St Joan of Arc Catholic School has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and energetic individual who has the passion as a faith leader to work with children and young people, and who can help them explore and engage with their faith.
You will lead and develop a vibrant chaplaincy provision across our school, as well as support the Youth Ministry provision of the Trust's connected parishes.
This is a vital role, working alongside the Headteacher to shape the Catholic Life and Mission of our schools, co-ordinating and resourcing liturgical events, and providing spiritual growth and pastoral care to students, families and staff.
You will support the Catholic Life and Collective Worship of our school communities and will work with, and be supported by, a growing Chaplaincy team across the wider Trust.
Please note, there is a genuine occupational requirement that applicants should be practising Catholics, and your Parish Priest will be approached for a reference to confirm this.
37 hrs per week, 39 weeks per year (term-time only, plus INSET days ) - some flexibility in working hours will be required, in order to support residential or retreat events
Hay Pay Range from H6 to H7, Actual salary £25,351 - £29,407 per annum, dependent on experience
