At John Ferneley College, we have a passionately holistic approach to providing the children we serve the best possible education to give them what they need for successful and happy futures. We are committed to providing an excellent knowledge- rich curriculum that develops ambition, raises expectations and delivers excellent results. Our students are helped to become the best versions of themselves as people who know they must work hard and who have responsibilities.
We have, and continue to drive strong relationships with parents/guardians, who play an active role in the school's vision and values as we strive to become exceptional. We genuinely believe in the importance of working in partnership with our staff, parents/guardians, students and all stakeholders.
As an Assistant Head of Year, you will be responsible for the welfare of our students day- to-day, completing pastoral administration tasks, as well delivering exceptional pastoral care to an extremely high standard.
The welfare, safety, health and happiness of every student is the top priority of the Pastoral team.
Our whole-school approach to pastoral care is carefully considered to ensure that students have a sense of independence and freedom whilst knowing that they have the highest standard of care, support and well-being on offer to them, from Year 7 through to Year 11.
