Deputy Director of Learning: Physical Education

Hours: Full Time

Salary: TLR2B

We are looking to appoint a Deputy Director of Learning in PE to join our enthusiastic and dedicated PE team starting 1st September 2024. We welcome applications from experienced teachers who are passionate about PE and have a proven track record of success in improving standards and raising student outcomes. You will have the skills and drive to inspire our students, coupled with high expectations and strong interpersonal skills. We are seeking a teacher who has expertise in teaching a range of team and individual sports to complement the faculty and build on our successful extra-curricular programme. The post will suit an outstanding teacher looking for leadership development.

Key responsibilities will focus on:

  • managing the Key Stage 5 Sport Science and Sports Leaders course and a Sports Leadership program for outstanding students at Key Stages 3 and 4
  • co-ordinating and developing extra-curricular activities to widen students’ aspirations, including arranging and overseeing events, trips and tours.
