JOB OVERVIEW

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Apprentice Payroll Administrator to join our Finance Team at Kent College, Canterbury from May 2024. The successful candidate will work closely with our Payroll Manager, supporting with tasks to ensure the smooth running of the payroll each month. Alongside the role, the apprentice will work towards a Level 3 Payroll Administrator qualification and will gain CIPP Affiliate Level membership. 

The successful applicant will have a good level of English and Maths, with GCSE grade 4/C or above desirable. They will have excellent communication skills, with the ability to pay high attention to detail and maintain strict confidentiality when dealing with personal information. 

This role is perfect for someone looking to kickstart their career in payroll.

THE POSITION

The position is 40 hours per week, full year, on a fixed-term contract for the length of the apprenticeship (approx. 18 - 21 months).
