Kingston Grammar School is looking to appoint a full-time Digital Media Technician to join the IT Support Team, focusing on the delivery of and support for digital resources across the school.

The main responsibility of this role is to provide technical support for school events, assemblies and digital resources within the classroom including digital presentations and audio equipment. The Digital Media Technician will also provide technical support for presentations online and be responsible for creating multimedia presentations and capturing content at school events, editing and presenting the footage to be used across various school platforms.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate excellent IT skills, remain calm in potentially pressurized situations and be able to troubleshoot issues and provide solutions. Experience in a customer service or media background would be beneficial and excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to manage time effectively, and pay attention to detail. A creative flair to your work is also required as there will be elements of graphic design and presentations including shortform video within the role.

A competitive salary and generous benefits accompany this role, and it offered on a full-time, permanent contract working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Additionally, the post-holder will be required to work occasional weekends and evenings to support events which would be agreed in advance. This role is based on-site at KGS.
