Are you an experienced sports professional, looking to coach a variety of sports in a highly successful Sports Department? We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, self-motivated and dynamic Sports Coach who is willing and able to coach multiple sports at a variety of levels. This may include hockey, football, cricket and netball. The successful candidate will be inspirational and engaging, enabling students to develop their love for sport across multiple disciplines. In this role, you will contribute to the sporting and co-curricular programme across the school and will work closely with the PE and Games staff.

This exciting opportunity brings the chance for an individual to join a large and committed sports department with a strong reputation for sporting achievements, especially in Hockey and Rowing, and more recently Cricket. The successful candidate will be able to coach to the highest standards and inspire our students to reach their full potential. There may also be the opportunity to accompany overseas sports tours in the Easter and Summer holidays.

The role is offered on an average of 40 hours per week to include after school training sessions and Saturday mornings. We offer a competitive salary dependent on experience plus generous benefits. The closing date for the position is Wednesday 4th June 2025. (Please note, we reserve the right to close the vacancy at any time, therefore early applications are welcomed).

Prior to interview, an online search will be conducted to identify any past or current incidents or issues that might affect your suitability to work with children and undertake this role. This is in line with guidance in Keeping Children Safe in Education. Please note this online search will be carried out only on publicly available information and be limited to issues relating to your suitability to work with children and/or in a school environment. Issues that arise will not automatically be a bar to your employment at this school.
