We are part of The Four Stones Multi Academy Trust who are a family of like-minded schools based in the West Midlands. We have come a long way in a short time and are now home to three schools, over 3,500 students, a Teaching School Hub and a SCITT (School Centred Initial Teaching Training) all with differing contexts and serving different communities.

Who we are looking for:

We are seeking to appoint an ‘Achievement Leader’ as part of our school. The successful applicant will work with identified students to ensure they are supported in school to make good progress.

The Achievement Leader will be accountable for:

  • The pastoral well-being of students in their year group
  • The attendance and punctuality of students in their year group
  • The behaviour of students in their year group
  • The attitudes to learning of students in their year group

The post is for 37 hours per week, term time weekdays only plus the school training days and will be paid at Salary scale 6, point range 18-22 (£29777-£31364 pro rata). This post will report to a member of SLT.

You will have:

Our successful candidate will have the following experience and qualifications:

  • Experience of working with students who require additional support
  • NVQ level 3 or above qualification appropriate to the post
  • Experience of working with students who require additional support both academically and emotionally
  • Clear vision for and proven track record of improving attendance and behaviour
  • Ability to encourage high standards of student attendance and behaviour at all times

Your Application:

The Four Stones MAT is fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment. As part of our requirements under Keeping Children Safe in Education pre-employment checks we will undertake. This role will involve undertaking regulated activity and therefore this position is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and an enhanced DBS will be required for the successful candidate.
