Who we are looking for:

We are seeking to appoint a ‘Teacher of art’ as part of our school. The successful candidate would teach art to key stage 3, 4 and potentially to key stage 5 and be expected to engage in extra-curricular activity as required. This post is suitable for Early Career teachers and experienced teachers.

The teacher of art will be accountable for: Planning and teaching lessons to the classes they are assigned to teach within the context of the school’s plans, curriculum and schemes of work.

The post is full-time and permanent and to start in September 2024.This role reports to the Head of art.

This role will involve undertaking regulated activity and therefore this position is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and an enhanced DBS will be required for the successful candidate.
