Working pattern: Term time plus TD days, Monday to Friday. 8.00am to 4.10pm Monday - Thursday, 8.00am to 3.40pm Friday. A daily unpaid break of 40 minutes.
Salary Range: Actual £22,313-£24,176 (FTE £25,992-£28,163) (pending pay award)
This is an exciting opportunity to support embedding good Attitudes to Learning at Kingsdown School through staffing the school’s Matrix for students on internal sanction. In addition, you will be responsible for coordinating the runnings of the behaviour system in the school and championing challenging students in order to support them in refocusing and reflecting their attitudes.
Good organisational skills, experience of working with young people and the ability to problem solve is essential. You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to identify potential barriers to learning and jointly engage in strategies to overcome these barriers. The successful candidate will be educated to GCSE C (or equivalent) in at least three subjects including English Language and Maths.
