SEND Teaching Assistant

  • 19.5hrs per week over 3 days – days TBC
  • Permanent contract
  • Term Time Only, plus 2 Inset Days (38.4 working weeks / 45.2 paid weeks)
  • Salary: BANES Q – SCP 3 - 4 - £24, 796 - £25,185 FTE per annum, pro rata
  • Actual Salary from £11, 328 - £11, 505 per annum

The Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic teaching assistant who shares our commitment to inspiring and empowering every child in our inclusive school. You will play a pivotal role in nurturing a love for learning and supporting children to develop confidence, creativity, and resilience.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be able to inspire children in their learning both within a group and on a 1-1 basis
  • Be a good team player, who thrives on collaboration
  • Be committed to inclusion and able to work systematically and flexibly in a busy school
  • Be an excellent communicator with good presentation skills, both written and verbal
  • Be passionate about learning and child development.
