Lakeside Nursery & Primary Academy are looking for patient, caring and flexible 1:1 Learning Support Assistants to support a child with an EHCP

Hours: 32.5 hours per week / Monday to Friday 8.30-3.30, 39 weeks including 5 INSET days
Contract: Temporary
Salary: Kite Academy Pay Scale, Band 1 £20,000 - £24, 331 FTE depending on experience
- Actual salary per annum £15,391 - £18,724
About
The child you would be working with is an absolute delight to be with. She loves to sing and dance! She has a physical condition and uses a wheelchair so responsibilities would include moving her safely around the school, physio, supporting her in using technology to access her learning. Lots of support and training is provided by the professionals both internally and externally who work with her.
You will need patience, resourcefulness and have high expectations of learning and behaviour and may also work with children in a group situation. You should also be enthusiastic and have good communication skills, with a genuine passion for children and what motivates them. Experience of supporting children with additional needs is a benefit, but is not essential.
