We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Lecturer in Health and Social Care to join the team at South Bank Colleges and Academies (SBA/SBC). In this role, you will deliver high-quality teaching and learning across a range of Health and Social Care programmes, supporting our learners to develop the skills, knowledge, and values essential for careers in this vital sector.
You will contribute to the planning, delivery, and assessment of health and social care curriculum at various levels, ensuring that students are fully prepared for progression into higher education or employment within the health and social care industry.
Skills & Experience
The ideal candidate must have the following;
- A recognised Level 5 teaching qualification as well as a level 5 subject specialism in Health and Social Care.
- Experience of teaching Health and Social Care in a further education college and evidence of the ability to teach effectively.
- Willingness to work flexibly to deliver a student focused curriculum (including working up to two evenings a week).
- Commitment to an inclusive education.
This role is offered on a full time (36 hours) and permanent basis.
