We are seeking a dedicated Lecturer in Dental Nursing and or Dental Technology, with a passion for inspiring students and developing their skills in the dental healthcare field. Your role will involve designing engaging lessons, setting clear and achievable learning objectives, tracking student progress, providing constructive feedback, and creating an inclusive, supportive classroom environment that encourages practical learning and professional development.
Teaching Dental Nursing and or Dental Technology at South Bank Colleges is an incredibly rewarding career. Experience
- A recognised Level 3 or Level 5 teaching qualification or subject experience
- Experience of teaching Dental Nursing / Dental Technology effectively in a further education college or significant experience within the sector
- Willingness to work flexibly to deliver a student focused curriculum (including working up to two evenings a week)
- Commitment to an inclusive education
- Must be currently competent across the entire standard of Dental Nursing and or Dental Technology , which involves being a General Dental Council (GDC) registrant with post-qualifying clinical experience. This can include:
- We are also interested to hear from candidates with the following
- Dentists with a GDC-recognised qualification for registration.
- Dental Care Professionals (DCPs) who are competent in their area of practice
- hold a GDC-recognised qualification for enrolment or statutory registration.
This role is offered on a Permanent and Full time (36 hours a week) basis.
