We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of Pathways (STEAM) to oversee and drive the successful planning, execution, and delivery of provision within STEAM curriculum areas across South Bank Colleges, specifically London South Bank Technical College. This role will be fixed term for three years, as the current post-holder is seconded to lead on the college’s successful Clean Energy Technical Excellence College bid.
As a Director at South Bank Colleges, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact by leading successful curriculum areas, and working within our LSBU Group pathways structure, designed to offer students clear career and further study progression opportunities, whatever their starting point.
Skills & Experience
The ideal candidate must have the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or/Higher Level study or related career experience, such as Level 6 Apprenticeship or proven track record in Education Leadership.
- 3 - 5 years leadership experience with evidence of leading large and complex curriculum areas/teams. For those seeking career development, this can be at ‘Head of’ level.
- Proven track record of managing multiple areas of provision simultaneously, with the ability to deliver curriculum within budget and meeting KPIs.
- Experience in presenting and reporting on project plans to senior stakeholders.
