We are looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate SEND Job Coach and Mentor to join our Inclusive Learning team.
This is an exciting opportunity to support young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) as they prepare for adulthood through work experience, Supported Internships, volunteering and employment.
You will work directly with learners, employers and curriculum teams to develop confidence, independence and employability skills that enable students to thrive both in college and in the workplace.
Skills & Experience:
Essential
- Experience working with young people or adults with SEND.
- Experience supporting individuals into employment, volunteering or work experience.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire learners.
- Good organisational and administrative skills.
- Knowledge of safeguarding and equality legislation.
- Passion for inclusive education and employment.
This role is offered on a Permanent and Full time (36 hours a week) basis.
