South Bank Colleges is looking for a skilled and proactive Brickwork Technician to join our Construction team at the London South Bank Technical College campus. This is a hands-on role supporting practical teaching and learning by maintaining workshop spaces, equipment, and materials to the highest standards. You will play a key part in creating a safe, inclusive, and inspiring environment for staff and students.
Skills & Experience
- The ideal candidate must have the following:
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant construction discipline.
- Recent industrial or commercial experience in construction or brickwork.
- Experience maintaining equipment and managing workshop materials.
- Strong working knowledge of health & safety and equal opportunities legislation.
- Excellent communication, organisation, and time management skills.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft 365 and willingness to learn sector-specific software.
- Commitment to safeguarding and a satisfactory Enhanced DBS disclosure.
