We are seeking a Lecturer in Business and Leadership in Health with passion for helping students improve their understanding of business concepts and practices and leadership and management, particularly, but not exclusively for the health sector. You will be teaching in the Entry to Employment department and contribute to upskill students so that they can apply for a better job or progress to university.

Your role will involve creating engaging lessons, setting achievable goals to challenge students, monitoring progress, providing feedback, and fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

You will plan engaging business studies schemes of work, set and review targets, track learner progress and assess in relation to awarding body regulations. You will also prepare students for exams and guide them to achieve.

 Skills & Experience

  • The ideal candidate must have the following.
  • PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification (DTLLS or similar).
  • Strong passion for teaching Business Studies/Leadership and inspiring students.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
  • NQTs are welcome and encouraged to apply.
  • GCSE) in English and maths at grade C/4 or above (or equivalent L2 Functional skills)
  • Confident with your delivery
  • Commitment to an inclusive education

This role is offered on a Permanent and Full time (36 hours a week) basis.
