We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Lecturer in Science (Biology/Health Care Science) to join the team at South Bank Colleges and Academies (SBA/SBC). In this role, you will deliver high-quality teaching and learning across a range of Science programmes, with a focus on Biology and Health Care Science. You will support our learners in developing the scientific knowledge, investigative skills, and critical thinking required for careers in health, science, and related fields.
You will contribute to the planning, delivery, and assessment of science-based curriculum at various levels, ensuring that students are fully prepared for progression into higher education or employment within the healthcare and life sciences sectors.
Skills & Experience
- The ideal candidate must have the following;
- A recognised Level 5 teaching qualification as well as a level 5 subject specialism in Science.
- Experience of teaching Science in a further education college and evidence of the ability to teach effectively.
- Willingness to work flexibly to deliver a student focused curriculum (including working up to two evenings a week).
- Commitment to an inclusive education.
This role is offered on a Permanent and Full time (36 hours a week) basis.
