We are seeking a welcoming, professional and results-driven Student Recruitment Administrator to oversee and drive the successful planning, execution, and delivery of key frontline initial point of contact services within South Bank Colleges.

This role will be a permanent term time only position which will focus on managing the college switchboard and call centre activities, carrying out the effective handling of incoming telephone, email, face-to-face enquiries and other related primary first point of contact duties.

As a Student Recruitment Administrator, the successful candidate will provide a professional and efficient administrative and customer-focused service, helping to attract, engage and support prospective students throughout the admissions and enrolment pipeline stages

Skills & Experience

The ideal candidate must have the following:

  • Level 2 qualifications in English, Mathematics and ICT, with a 5-year currency
  • Level 2 Information, Advice and Guidance (or willingness to achieve this qualification)
  • Level 2 in Customer Service (or willingness to achieve this qualification)
  • Experience of working in a further education institution, preferably including experience of initial contact activity, admissions and enrolment, student record systems and admissions systems
  • Experience of working in an office environment using administrative systems, including Information Technology, with significant experience of using Microsoft Office packages to a high standard of quality and accuracy.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills; scheduling and prioritising multiple tasks with varying deadlines
  • High level of literacy and numeracy, with excellent communication skills both written and verbal

This role is offered on a Permanent and Term Time Only (40wks per year), Full-time (36 hours a week) basis.
