We are seeking enthusiastic and committed visiting teachers to join our dynamic team delivering Essential Skills courses, including English, Maths, ESOL Digital Skills to adult learners within the Entry to Employment department.

We offer a range of Entry to Employment programmes designed to prepare learners for meaningful careers, combining vocational training, essential skills development, and work experience. Working closely with a wide range of stakeholders, we are dedicated to breaking down barriers and supporting learners to build the confidence and skills they need to thrive.

Whether you're an experienced teacher in the one or more of the subject areas above, new to teaching, returning to the profession, or bringing relevant industry experience, we welcome your application. You can teach one or more subject areas, and we offer a supportive environment focused on learner success and personal development.

Skills & Experience

The ideal candidate must have the following;

  • A recognised Level 5 teaching qualification as well as a level 5 subject specialism in English, Maths or ESOL Digital Skills.
  • Experience of teaching English, Maths or ESOL Digital Skills in a further education college and evidence of the ability to teach effectively.
  • Willingness to work flexibly to deliver a student focused curriculum (including working up to two evenings a week).
  • Commitment to an inclusive education.

This role is offered on a part time (25 hours per week) and term-time only basis.

Salary

£31,872 - £46,380 (pro-rata), including London weighting allowance
