We are seeking a qualified, experienced, and industry-focused IT Teacher to join our growing Digital and Technology Department. 

We are looking for a passionate educator with current industry knowledge and teaching experience to deliver the following programmes:

  • Level 3 Computing
  • Level 4 Software Development

The successful candidate will inspire learners to develop the technical skills, knowledge, and confidence required for progression into higher education and careers within the technology sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and high-quality teaching across Computing and Software Development programmes.
  • Support learners to achieve their academic and professional goals.
  • Develop and maintain up-to-date course materials that reflect current industry standards and practices.
  • Monitor learner progress and provide constructive feedback to support achievement.

Essential Requirements:

  • A relevant qualification in Computing, Software Development, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • A recognised teaching qualification.
  • Industry experience in software development, programming, computing, or related fields.
  • Strong communication and learner engagement skills.
  • A commitment to excellence in teaching, learning, and assessment.

Desirable Skills and Experience:

  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Python.
  • Experience of database development, systems analysis, software testing, or web development.
  • Understanding of current trends and developments within the technology sector.
