This is an exciting time to join Lambeth College and we are seeking an enthusiastic team worker to promote and deliver our work experience placement provision to students and employers.
The Work Experience Placement Officer will join an established team. The successful candidate will hold responsibility for engaging employers and managing relationships with businesses aligned to the Arts, Creative, Media and IT curriculum areas. Applicants should ideally have knowledge of the labour market in one or more of these areas and have a background in education or recruitment.
Candidates must be able to provide guidance to students/employers, maintain accurate records on a database and ensure that work placements are risk assessed. The role is mainly office based but it involves going into classes and working with students and academic staff to ensure the timely delivery of placements. Some travel will be involved.
The role is suited to candidates who are motivated to achieving success for our students and are target driven.
Full Time - 36 hours per week - Permanent
