We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Work Experience Placement Officer to source, develop, and manage high-quality work placement opportunities for students across South Bank Colleges across all three sites. This role will focus on building strong relationships with employers, boroughs, and curriculum teams to ensure students gain meaningful placements that match their chosen career paths, including extended work placements for T Level courses.
As a Work Experience Placement Officer at South Bank Colleges, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact by developing, brokering, and maintaining strong employer partnerships, ensuring the future workforce has the skills required to access jobs in their chosen career paths. Working closely with Curriculum staff, Student Services, and the wider careers team, you will help deliver the college's employability agenda by identifying current and pipeline demand, organising placement offers, and supporting students and parents through every stage of the placement process.
Skills & Experience:
- Education to degree level, or equivalent, or equivalent experience
- A CIAG qualification at Level 2/3, or a willingness to obtain this within the first year of appointment
- Level 2 qualifications in numeracy and literacy, or a willingness to undertake these
- Evidence of continuing professional development (CPD)
- Experience of working in an office environment using administrative systems, including IT
- Experience of dealing and working directly with people, providing services to a wide range of clients
- Experience of using Microsoft IT packages to a high standard of quality and accuracy
- Experience of working within the Further/Higher Education field (desirable)

This role is offered on a Permanent and Full time (36 hours a week) basis.
