Fairfield High School is seeking to appoint three committed, enthusiastic inspirational Achievement Coordinators (Head of Year). We welcome applications from those who have worked in schools or other sectors who are looking to move into a middle leadership position and enjoy working in a fast paced environment. Our school has Key Stage 3 and 4 Support Staff roles within our Senior Leadership Team. In addition to the role you will sit on the Middle Leadership Team. We are a school that ensures support staff have routes of progression within our organisation.

You will be overseeing the culture for learning of a year group including driving attendance, academic attainment, safeguarding and behaviour. You will be line managed by an Associate SLT Head of Key Stage for your key stage and supported by a team of Achievement Managers.

The successful candidates will have good leadership potential and be able to demonstrate high professional standards and resilience while managing competing priorities. You will work closely with stakeholders across the school community SLT, support staff, teachers, families and outside agencies and be instrumental in working to get the best possible outcomes across your year group.

These are Support Staff posts, working full time of 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, term time only plus 20 days. Salary is based on pay NJC points 31 - 33, full time equivalent of £39,186 to £41,418. Actual salary for term time plus 10 days is £34,569 to £36,538 per annum.

We are looking for staff who have worked in a similar role working with young people in schools or other similar sectors, supporting vulnerable students and their families and has strong inter-personal skills and has excellent pastoral care.
