You'll work alongside teachers to provide one-on-one or small group support, and empower Early Years pupils to reach their full potential. This role will also involve working within our After- School Club.

Due to Crown Street Primary's unique location, there is no parking on site. However, there are Pay & Display bays on the surrounding roads of Great Jackson Street, which is where Crown Street Primary School is located. Public transport is excellent, with Crown Street Primary School being a 7-minute walk from Deansgate Train Station and Deansgate-Castlefield Tram Stop. We also offer interest free loans for the purchase of annual travel tickets.

Here at the Laurus Trust we are able to provide a cutting-edge SEND provision that has a positive impact on our young people. You will play a vital role in enhancing pupils progress whilst promoting their independence, self-esteem and social inclusion. A comprehensive offer of professional learning is in place and we ensure that all schools have designated work spaces for staff. A broad range of training in SEND is in place across all our schools focused on whole school SEND issues as well as specific training for SEND teams.

If you would like to join our Laurus family in a rewarding role that changes the lives of our pupils by empowering them to become the best that they can then we would love to hear from you.

This position is contracted on a 30 hours per week + 5 days Term Time Only basis (6 hours per day, 8.45 - 3.15). This means you will mainly work when the school is open to pupils and will not need to work during the school holidays unless the contract requires you to do so.
