Teacher ASC centre

Applications are invited from suitably experienced and qualified teachers for the post of Teacher of the ASC centre at Risca Community Comprehensive School.
The ASC centre is the Specialist Resource base for the Caerphilly Borough that support learners with a diagnosis of Autism. The ASC Centre employs inclusive practices whereby pupils access the mainstream school.
This is a permanent post which will take effect from January 1st 2025.

Closing Date: Monday 7th October 2024 at 3pm
Interviews are likely to take place on Monday 14th October 2024.
Visits to the department will be arranged afterschool on Tuesday 1st October and Thursday 3rd October at 4pm.
This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (1974) and a comprehensive screening process will be undertaken on all applicants. This will include an enhanced check with the Disclosure and Barring Service.
