We’re on a mission to make learning irresistible and have a position available in our friendly EYFS team to work alongside a child with additional needs and to support the wider class.
This is a term time only temporary appointment to provide support for a specific child and their cohort but there is the possibility of a permanent appointment in the future for the right candidate. Hours of work are 8.30am to 3.15pm Monday-Friday, with a thirty minute unpaid break at lunchtime - 31.25 hours a week over 38.6 weeks per year.
There may also be the opportunity to work in our breakfast and/or after school club if so desired.
The successful candidates will:
- have GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent)
- ideally have experience of working with children in a school or nursery environment
- ideally have experience of working with children who are neuro-divergent
- be flexible and self-motivated
- be caring and patient
- be observant and adaptable
- enjoy playing with children
- have a sense of humour

Burpham Primary School is a school within the Learning Partners Academy Trust for children between the ages of four and eleven with a KS1 Specialist Centre for children with speech, language and communication needs (SLCN). We aspire to help every child in our care to develop as a whole person, becoming confident, happy, independent, creative and adaptable; to love learning and achieve more than they ever thought possible. Our experienced and well-established teaching team have high expectations and aspirations for all our pupils and we never stop trying to find new ways of promoting learning and making improvements to our school.
