Senior Learning Support Assistant, Numeracy

Location - Near West Byfleet, Surrey (exc ellent transport links)

Contract type – 27.08 hours per week, term-time only (38.6 weeks)

Hours – 8.30am-3.05pm, Monday-Friday

Contract term – Permanent to start September 2026

Salary - Payscale LPT5, FTE £28,434 - £30,464 (pro rata £18,371-£19,683)

Do you have an interest in supporting young people? We are seeking to appoint a senior learning support assistant to work within the Maths department supporting our students. You will be part of an amazing team with a deep commitment to delivering excellent results and helping students achieve their potential.

Main roles are:

• To assist teachers in delivering high quality lessons

• Work closely with students to aid their progress

• Providing Dyscalculia screening and numeracy support

• High expectations of pupil behaviour and achievement

• Keen to develop professional expertise and willing to learn from others

• Planning and delivering interventions.
