Full Time, Fixed Term to 31 August 2027 - Inclusion Hub Teacher

This position is a one-year funded role. 

We are seeking to appoint an experienced, committed and inspiring Inclusion Lead Teacher to join our thriving and well-established school. This is an exciting opportunity for an outstanding practitioner who is passionate about inclusion and delivering high-quality teaching and learning. 

The Inclusion Hub supports who may struggle to access the full curriculum, have identified gaps in their learning or require targeted intervention and bespoke provision to help them thrive. Through a nurturing and inclusive approach, the Hub supports children with a range of additional needs, including communication and interaction difficulties, social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH), neurodiversity, and developmental differences. 

Working closely with the Senior Leadership Team, Inclusion lead (SENCo), class teachers, families and external agencies, the successful candidate will lead the strategic development and day-to-day operation of the Inclusion Hub. They will deliver high-quality teaching and targeted interventions, champion inclusive practice across the school, and help children develop the skills, confidence and resilience needed to successfully access mainstream learning wherever appropriate.

The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic and highly effective teacher with a creative and engaging approach to learning. They will be keen to contribute to the wider life of the school and work collaboratively as part of a supportive and dedicated team.

The Inclusion Hub Teacher will:

• Lead the development and day-to-day operation of the school's Inclusion Hub.

• Create a nurturing, safe and highly supportive learning environment for children with additional needs.

• Deliver high-quality teaching and targeted interventions to pupils requiring specialist support.

• Promote inclusive practices across the school and support colleagues in meeting the needs of pupils with SEND.

• Work collaboratively with staff, parents and external professionals to secure the best possible outcomes for children.

• Fulfil the professional responsibilities of a teacher as set out in the School Teachers' Pay and Conditions Document.
