We are looking for a proactive, passionate teacher with the drive to help and support children with additional needs to ensure they are able to assess their education, in a calm and supportive environment. At Stoughton Infant and Nursery school, we pride ourselves in our inclusive practices, and this key role will help us achieve our objectives for inclusivity. In this role, you will be working closely within our Inclusion team and supporting our Inclusion lead.
Stoughton Infant and Nursery School is a successful infant school in Guildford, which is part of Learning Partners Academy Trust. In our most recent parent survey, it was regularly commented that the school is child centred, inclusive, encouraging and nurturing with a community feel.
We are looking for somebody who is:
• Self-motivated, enthusiastic and committed to getting the best outcomes for our children
• Is very resilient and remains calm under pressure
• Has a positive outlook and a calm demeanour
• Previous experience of working within SEND department is desired, but not essential
• Has the ability to use their own initiative.
